There's a lot of talk about restoring leather handles, but very little information from anyone who actually knows what they are doing. I tried restoring a very dried out stacked leather handle per directions I found from Kabars engineering department involving pure beeswax and Neatsfoot oil. I didn't have high hopes due to the degree of deterioration. What I found out was, it eliminated some of the looseness of the washers, and it did put a little life back into the leather. Obviously, it didn't turn the old knife into a new one, but that's OK, it's old, like me.
