I've been tumbling my k baffles in stainless media and now they're starting to turn a copper color. Any advice?

You removed the chrome plating, chromium is usually plated over copper and nickel on steel. What you are seeing is the thicker base layer of copper that is plated to the steel (chromium doesn't stick to steel)

On chrome, solvents are MUCH safer than tumbling. Chromium is non-reactive, so even nasty solvents don't bother it.

So stainless steel is actually copper at the base? Is there any structural damage done?
