I think you can take the photo as posted and obtain the details of the picture to get the LAT and LONG of where the photo was taken.

Yes! They get that big here. I have seen several close to that one in width. Metro Atlanta has some GIANTS around. The closest one to that width I have currently is in South Ga. but is very elusive.
