Status of bump stocks: they’re still lame
If I thought they were worth while, I would have purchased one long ago. It really isnt about the item its about giving yet another piece of the pie to anti-gun people. Imagine 3-gun triggers being next on the list. Then they go after Hi-cap mags again and limit them to 10 or less. ARs have been on the hate list for awhile perhaps they are next.
Last I heard they were still peices of sh*t and make a perfectly good looking gun ugly and unpractical to use effectively. You can change this and that, spend thousands of dollars on gimmicks but it's never going to be a real full auto gun nor shoot like one. I would put the money to good use and do a kick ass upgrade to what you got. Just my two cents worth anyway. An optic upgrade, a really good trigger anything but a rattling piece of plastic that does nothing but was waste precious ammo.
If I wanted a rifle with a rattling plastic stock I'd buy a SCAR 17.
