Assembled in Eagle Pass, Texas which is pissing distance to Mexico. But I think some of the parts are made in Mexico and sent back to Texas for assembly.

I'm sure they go bang and are a cheap alternative, but I'm also sure that there are people out there that would like to know if the gun their looking to buy is made in China. Not everyone is ready to support the Chinese Communist Party while exercising their 2nd Amendment right.
With the high probability of the USA going to war against China, it would be prudent of people to think twice before choosing the Chinese option over others.
Even if all the part's aren't made in the USA, the Maverick 88 is still assembled by American's. That is a big incentive to choose it over it's competitors for me.
