Stoeger makes pistols now?

I've been deal shopping lately and keep seeing new brands pop up. Stuff like Arex and SAR being imported and proving itself to be good is expected, but I never expected the addition of people like PSA, Mossberg, and Stoeger to the pistol market.

Anyone have experience with Stoeger pistols yet? They're frequently available at less than ODT Taurus prices (or the same price as a new Taurus.)

The Mossbergs seem great (I'll know more soon) and the PSA Daggers look like new old Glocks. Exciting times.

The Stoegers have been out for years.
Didnt impress me, OK finish quality, looked like a Beretta knock off, if I recall?
Looking I see they have a Glock,M&P, knock off now.

Probably OK for the money. Like Taurus I guess.

I knew they made Cougars years ago but thought they were out of the handgun market. I'm not sure how to describe the new polymer guns.
