Setting a post count won't help, it will actually end up harming. Say you set the post count at 30, now you will have people post padding to hit 30. Then a mod is going to have to delete posts, give infractions, and explain to countless people that you have to make useful posts.
The best way to truly fix it would be to make selling only available to supporters. You could buy all day long but you could only sell after paying to join. It wouldn't fix it completely but it would surly help the problem.
And who decides what is over priced?

Can't we all agree that current prices on the ODT are just reflecting supply and demand. People can't find what they want at their local or nearby store and are willing to pay higher prices to get it now. I really don't see that this should insult or harm anyone. It appears that the greatest demand in rifles now is AK's, AR's and SKS's and other automatic weapons which sort of dries up the demand for other weapons. Patience and time will solve all these problems. A couple of weeks ago my son wanted a new highly popular 9mm semi-automatic pistol and yes they were advertised on the ODT for $100+ above store prices but most stores did not have any. So he got on the phone and found a store within about 25 miles of his normal commute and purchased the gun att he normal regular price. Now he might have had to wait several weeks to find what he wanted, but he was willing to wait. However, if he had more money than time, he would have bought one on the ODT.
I might guess that some people feel the ban/bans will be implemented and what we have will be grandfathered in, so they want to get what they feel they would like to have. I can't fault anyone for that.

And .22 lr ammo will be $10.00 per thousand just like the good old days. I like guns,pistols,rifles,shotguns I love em all, price is secondary to the quest for new and interesting firearms. Just roll with it, the market determines price and i am ok with that. We no longer have 5cent cokes and 25 cent Bj's but they are still just as good today as they ever were.
