As far as new guns, maybe.

Some used older Taurus or Rossi wheel guns, older Ruger's and a bunch others are worth having but new...

Not even sure a Taurus G2C would be worth having.

I have a G3C and overall I dig it even though I ain't had a chance to shoot it yet. I think Taurus may have finally worked out all the kinks in their newer models. BTW... Mine is new enough that it has Bainbridge,GA on the slide instead of the old Miami FL.
As for used guns yeah the old P Series Ruger is a solid bet. I scored a P95 on here about two years ago for $300.00.

For the money, the only bad thing I can say about Hi Point is they ugly and heavy.....
