I am really surprised, my first Ar build and it works! I fired it this afternoon with no issues. I was fully prepared for it to jam, or blow up, or misfeed, but it was perfect with 3 differient mags.
The base was a c3 stripped upper and a complete c3 lower that i got on odt. It had been hydrodipped, desert digital.
I added a Daniels Defense carbine chrome lined barrel, and a DD chrome bcg. I had to put on the front site and gas tube, tightened on the barrel and added the front hand guard. It didnt have a forward assist, so I put that on last night.
I dinged up the hydro dipped finish a bit right behind the hand guard from test fitting it, but i think i can touch it up with a little paint.
If you havent built one up, i recommend it, its very satisfying.
I still need a rear sight, but other than that its done.
