No, I get it. The south lost, but was fighting for states rights! And the battle flags isn't racist, it's history.

I've heard it all.

I even protested when they removed it from the GA state flag, just like a true southern, with deep roots in Ga. Then I learned history, and not just 8th grade Ga history and realized that all those "lessons " from the confederate flag wearing crowd was just lies and racism hidden behind a history that "fought for states rights "

States rights to do what? O, that's right, own other people as slaves.

Was it then used as the "battle flag" of the KKK? Yes, it was, securing it's history and roots in racism.
