you're right but you will also have thousands of very skilled guys with real equipment that will be able to turn these out for much much much cheaper. Prices are gonna tank. suppressors are cheap in european countries where they are legal to the point that they are viewed as a disposable object.

At the end of the day its just a threaded tube with baffles. It does take precision to get it good but its still pretty close to metal lathe working 101.

That's 70s logic with no tech behind it. Hell just stack some freeze plugs with a hole in them in a Maglite body. No machine work needed. You can even jb weld a hex nut of the right thread pattern on the end so you don't even have to weld.

Or there are just way more skilled machinests now who do have the equipment to churn these out? I don't know why you'd be so upset that skilled laborers would have an easy way of making a side hustle.

And again, this has already been shown true to happen in other markets, not sure why ours would be any different.

Why would anyone want to purchase a suppressor now with the pending bill looking favorable to remove suppressors from NFA? Why not wait to see how the bill plays out and save the $200, have no wait time, and not have to deal with all the trust paperwork?

I'm all for it, the nfa as a whole is unconstitutional, but the government does not care what the constitution says. They do what they want and convince enough people they should under the guise of some greater good. Look at the Patriot Act.....

You both are correct. Yes - there will be a lot of dirt cheap, entry crap. Yes - there will be more high quality options cuz people with skills can make them.

But more goes into a good can than simple tubes and baffles.

It will be good for the industry and consumers if they are removed from the NFA. More manufacturers. Less expensive, More R&D. But it ain't happenin
