Yes, but I don't feel like the ATF is balls deep as much as I do when it comes to NFA stuff. The 4473 you fill out to buy a gun is also a violation of the 2nd amendment......
Deregulation of gun silencers and easily concealable guns. This section removes the regulations pertaining to gun silencers and easily concealable firearms under the National Firearms Act. (Section 70436)
I am the OP. As I have said in my comments in the discussion, I already own multiple cans. I was merely posing the question as a point of discussion/consideration.So OP ... now the HPA was removed from the BBB, time to buy a can or nah?

Exactly right. No point on waiting now as that's why I've waited to get more suppressors. Looks like I'm making Uncle Sam $400 richer soon!If someone wanted to purchase a can, should they wait to see if they can save the $200? It seems that has now been answered by the possibility being removed from the bill. So, if $200 is a deterrent for someone, they will probably not purchase. If it is not a deterrent, spend away. Looks like we are going to keep having to cough up $200 to own suppressors in the near future.
I don't foresee a mad rush if the tax hits zero or 1 dollar. They will stay in the NFA system. Im curious if the dealer will increase the price though. Really should of tried to remove sbr out of NFA instead.
And then the no $200 tax provision got added back. Who isn’t paying attention??under the proposal they would be completely removed from NFA, and if you were paying attention they did add SBR's to being removed as well. . . . . . . .and then i believe they were both dropped from the bill and its all moot just like we all figured it would be
