Connecticut supreme court. Not supreme court. Case has a long way to go.

because the government makes more in taxes from tobacco sales, than the tobacco companies themselves make in profits...
On Tuesday the SCOTUS allowed the case to go forward. This was on an appeal filed by Remington to a decision that came down in March from the Connecticut Supreme Court. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/scotus-lets-sandy-hook-families-lawsuit-against-gunmaker-proceed
Damn. If this goes the wrong way it's a big nail in the coffin.
It seems ridiculous to think it could go the wrong way. The rifle in question was stolen. It had nothing to do with marketing by the rifle builder. Not to mention, when was the last time you saw any ads for guns on any mainstream media. Maybe if you buy a gun magazine or are watching a channel that caters to sportsmen. The case has no merit. The court didn't say it did, they just said there is no legal reason it can't be pursued. Just my opinion but I have doubts it will amount to anything. But these day, you just never know.
PLCAA anyone? If this gets to the SCOTUS, it'll be thrown out in a heartbeat. Hell, the SCOTUS may not even hear the case based on established law.
