So I swapped out the FSB on my DDM4V3 with a low profile gas block in order to put on a longer rail (Omega X 12.0). This is my first time doing anything like this and I discovered that the barrel actually has a notch cut out of the bottom for the taper pin in the FSB. The low profile gas block does not cover this up, however the rail hides it pretty well but it does bother me that it's there. Is there anything wrong with shooting this rifle like this or should I just put it back on, sell it and get a barrel that is not designed for the FSB?
My google searches didn't really come up with an answer for this.
