So if someone was sneaking on to your hunting land and hunting and you just happened to find their stand and cameras would it be considered stealing if you took it?

Is it your land or are you leasing it?You would have to be sure the owner did not authorize someone else. If so it would be civil in nature. If it's your own I would take it and see if he claimed it.

I used to find a deer stand every year right here on my property until they bulldozed the trailer park through the woods down. I'd just give them to one of my buddies and write a note on the back of a no trespassing sign. No one ever called looking for their stand.
