It's all a scam at corporate level. My personal example: I was gonna order a bass guitar that was gonna be close to $5k after taxes (theft). I got in touch with a smaller business and they were able to sell it to me at $3800 out the door. Why would they be able to take a $1200 hit over the big corporate store? Its greed pure and simple. I almost can't blame the liberals for hating capitalism.

The price of peanuts has increased more than that... 5 years ago, a pack of Atlanta Braves ( at my local Kroger's) peanuts was normally $1.00... but you could usually find them on sale for 50 cents. Now that same pack of peanuts is 2 for $5.00 that's a 250% increase in 5 years.
