Exactly, I get it of course. That's why I said "almost" can't blame them. If you get someone who monopolizes then you have a big problem. Like epipens and concert tickets. But just like communism, capitalism works great on paper until you throw people into the mix. Although capitalism is the better of two systems, the common denominator that ruins both is greed.

I remember when the lottery was being sold to the citizens of Georgia. The money was going to school and hope scholarships. Don’t get me wrong I have one kid taking advantage of hope and both have taken advantage of the 4K program. It’s just think it’s odd that I don’t know more people who have won millions of dollars for so much to have been given away.

I also don’t see how their cost could have increased and I think they are just fleecing the ticket buyers.

I'm absolutely sure that the farmers don't see a extra nickel in profits, despite a 250% increase in the price of the product being sold at retail.

As far as the lottery goes, I do play it a few times a week spending about $20.00 a week on tickets. In 2005 I bought $9.00 dollars in scratch off tickets, and won a 2005 Mustang convertible. So people do win.

My point is that if you choose to go to a concert pay the asking price.

You have the choice not to attend. Versus medical necessities.

Hey here is an insiders view of tariffs. I work Part time at a big box store. Since the tariffs were announced all the products. ALL READY ON THE SHELF. Have been marked up. The stuff was already here pre tariff In years to come someone will find this out. And file a claim. ITS like gas stations with gas in the tanks already. Charging the inflated prices during a storm

Only time I buy a lotta ticket is when the mega millions is over around 600 million. At that point your odds of winning are better than the value of the $2 ticket so mathematically it makes sense. Vegas world buy that ticket every time. Plus it gives you a little dopamine boost imagining what you would do with that kind of money.

Only happens about once or twice a year though and I'm not even paying attention half the time so more like once a year.
