WASHINGTON â President Barack Obama will launch an administration-wide effort Wednesday to create new policies aimed at preventing another mass school shooting.
Obama is tasking Vice President Joe Biden with spearheading the process, which is a response to Friday's deadly attack at a Connecticut elementary school. The president will announce the effort from the White House.
White House aides say the president is not expected to announce any major policy decisions Wednesday. But the initiative underscores the political urgency the White House feels in the wake of the shooting.
Obama aides say Obama is likely to pursue some tightening of gun laws, including a ban on assault-style weapons. He is also likely to seek ways to improve mental health resources and school safety.
Did you read the article or just the headline? His aids say there will be an effort but nothin has been said yet. Lets all wait to see what is ACTUALLY said before we go nutty on this one. Also note this is from FOX news.....
I sure hope so, Biden is an idiot.if you wanted something done, I dont know if they would of let Biden lead it. Hopefully thats just a show of effort.
We’re screwed. Joe Biden is to lead the committee for new gun policy. Say goodbye to our 2A as we know it.

Good point, we seem to like pointing the fingers at someone or something else other than the real culprit....I had the exact same thought...if I was serious about something, I don't know that I'd let Biden run it either......however, if I wanted something done and needed a fall guy, I might let Biden head it up.
