Why are we seeing tats on young (under 40ish) folks for the most part. No old farts inked up? !!!!

I have a tat thats says short,when stimulated it says,"Shortys bar and grill Pascagoula Mississippi 39567."

Why are we seeing tats on young (under 40ish) folks for the most part. No old farts inked up? !!!!

All 3 of my older brothers are Marines and they have plenty of Tats usually the Marine Corps emblem, the Death and Dishonor tats and more but nothing on there faces.
