I've owned several and only had a problem with one. Taurus made it right.

if you're gonna talk smack, talk facts.
Not Smack or anything else..and I can most certainly tell you that I have NO interest in Lies and would State only FACTS!!
Slander and or defamation or whatever the legal terms may be..I have no interest in being sued by Taurus Mfg.Company..
But..
Stating The truth is Not Slanderous...Its FACT.(period)
My experience with 2 of their products are just as I describe them...very,very disappointing performance of the products they manufactured..
and my OPINION is the Firearms they are manufacturing are ...JUNK...a waste of money and Dangerous to trust your life with.
Yep. When taurus tried to copy the 92fs I laughed and said I will never own a copy of anything.
Nuttin but love for ya bro but I'ma have to disagree with you on this one. Taurus didn't "copy" the Beretta. They bought Berettas Brazilian plant and made the PT92/99 on the same machines and to the same specs(minus the proprietary Beretta finish, which NOBODY else matchesIMO). From there the PT92 and the P92 evolved along different paths but the common ancenstry still takes them all the way back to the M1951(Helwan Brigadier).
Taurus produces some damn fine weapons but even as a supporter I have seen some very real issues which have dampened my enthusiasm over the last few years. While I would still own a 92/99/101 in a heartbeat and I have had great experiences with the PT145/745, I have had corrosion issues with Taurus' finish, function problems with a TCP and a PT140 and several others I have handled had triggers that would flex when pressure was applied. Try engaging the safety on any of then and pull the trigger hard. Makes me wonder if theflimsy feeling plastic trigger would actually snap right off. When the PT111G2 came out I saw pics and HAD to have one. I recently handled one and wouldn't own it for free. Taurus needs to take a step back and regroup.
For the same price range I can get a Ruger SR series which I feel MUCH more confident in.
PTR bought the equipment to make the HK91 and call it the ptr 91 but its still not a HK. I am just weird like that bro. It has to be the original anything less is just less. That is just me though. Everyone elses millage may vary.
