They appear to be nylon with brass thread inserts for strength but they have a lifetime warranty. I was told there is also free shipping on orders over $70 but can't confirm that on their website.

I have two. Haven't used them with 5.56 but rather as dedicated .22 hosts and they are awesome for that!

I've worked on several Anderson lowers that were out of spec. I had some that were fine too but quite a few had fitment issues. I've heard from several people that should know, that they come in as 80% lowers from China. It's just me but don't buy them any more
