I have noticed a lot of post like this in classified threads. I personally want to do all negotiations via pm so there is an ODT record of it in case it is necessary to review.Plus i am not really interested in giving my phone number out anymore than necessary.
Is there some benefit to doing deals that way?

I don't text or that hash thing or tweet or twitter thing. I have never played a video game except Pong and Packman at the bar many years ago..I pm until all agreements have been made, I like the records all in one place..I do ask for a phone number after all is documented, just before the meet..Just encase their is an emergency, or something...

everything in pm here first..once we agree on price, time, place THEN we can exchange phone numbers. Makes me suspicious like they are going to flake when they don't want to work things out here...

As it should be unless I know the person well,,then his word is his bond, and they know I respect that and do the same.

Text first or PM first doesn't matter but there will be a PM with the necessary info before I get in the truck to drive anywhere.

I don't understand the data usage thing. If you have the data to get on ODT and look and reply to the thread then you have the data to send a PM.
