"text me I am interested."

I am more comfortable via PM. I always suspect some nefarious reason for immediately switching to text but sometimes its really a convenience for the buyer, sometimes.

I just ignore their number and pm them asking what do they want to know about the gun. Sometimes that get a "please text me" in which case I don't respond.

Now if I have something unique listed I don't mind talking on the phone to a member with good feedback to go over more specific details before we arrange a meet.

The thing that gets me is they are asking you to reach out to them. Maybe I am old school but shouldn't they be reaching out via PM first?

It's like someone sending you an email asking you to call them. Why don't they just call instead of sending you an email in the first place?

I used to have a boss that would do that. Email or text just saying "Call me." Really? What a waste of time, if you want to talk just call me.
