Probably going to dinner at brother-in-law's wife's parents' house. Usually about 20 people, BIL fries two turkeys, his MIL cooks a beef roast, everyone brings a side dish. I help his FIL deplete his supply of 15yo Glenfiddich.

it'll be the same-o at my house. Spatchcocked turkey on the BGE. Unless I see something new and exciting on here, then I may try others recipes in addition to.

I have to do it that way....otherwise, I'll spent the entire time cooking worried about over/under cooking it.....It takes ALL the guess work out of cooking something that big!!!

Everyone will be coming to my place this year. I have a 19 lb Butterball I'll be roasting. Making my mom's dressing recipe. Probably do some broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce and mashed potatoes. My little sister will make some fresh yeast rolls. I'll also be getting a bunch of oysters as an appetizer. It will be good.

Water temps dropping, oysters ought to be plumping up. Weather startin' to cool off. Gettin' close to oyster roast time.

I need to make a map and just come by and visit , eat a little then move on to next house !! 😝
