Color me commie then…ain’t eatn no f’n bland ass dry bird don’t care how you baste or inject its ass.
Just me and the wife and a medium rare 4bone will last for a couple good meals. Daughters have their own thanksgiving. We do a family reunion every year for the entire kin get together and the food brought in by everyone is enormous.

A 3 day marinade cures dry bird.

My wife just bought a marinaded turkey breast. They turn out pretty good

Kinda. My apple cider, orange, rosemary marinade is pretty legit.

Couldn't wait for Thanksgiving, had to fix a pan of oyster dressing for supper. Edit: oyster casserole.

Well, that didn't take long....

For a few years when we were younger….we had several places to show up on Thanksgiving and Christmas. So we would make the rounds, just eat a little here n there…. mostly kind of “graze” a little. Visit, hugs and kisses, then off to the next place !! lol. It was chaotic but fun !! Now we go to my brothers house and sit over there and let everyone come by !! lol.
