This is what the article says: "Despite the defense’s claims, the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office says the case is moving forward based on what it described as a sound legal foundation." While that's pretty damning, it's not the same thing as "We think he kidnapped a kid."

If I had to guess, I would say that the DA is saying that they have a legal framework in which to proceed and they don't want to set a precedent of dropping charges based on public pressure. I suspect this will go away quietly and the dude will be cleared of all charges. If I were him, I'd obliterate her with lawsuits once I was cleared, although judging by the mobility scooter, two children under the age of four and the fact that she ran over one...and the fact that it was almost nine at night; well, I don't think there's much blood in that turnip.

While yes, she's a Karen bitch, she didn't put him in jail, she isn't prosecuting him. The State has done that, they done it not only with a lack of evidence that he's guilty, but with abundant and more than sufficient evidence he's innocent. First the police, and now the prosecutors.

Our justice system was designed from the very beginning to favor the accused. Our entire founding legal system was designed to era on the side of not depriving the innocent of life and liberty without clear evidence. To argue to prosecute a clearly innocent man to save face for the Justice system is to admit we've gone in the total opposite direction of our Constitution and it no longer serves the people but instead serves only the state.

I hope he obliterates the police department and prosecutors and gets a few million from the state, the real aggressors here.

On the FM radio news today they quoted the defense attorney --I assume that's Ms. Merchant --saying that if this Indian man were an attempted kidnapper, why would he continue shopping in the store calmly for another 10 minutes, including walking down the aisle where that woman and her kid were again showing her that he has found the thing that he had been looking for and asking her about earlier ,

and why would he calmly stand in line with his purchases to check out 10 minutes later ?

Anyone that’s watched the Walmart security film and still says he’s guilty is just as guilty as the false accuser, the fact they’ve drug this out with no further expediency from the courts side I hope he owns the Braves stadium after he’s done with Cobb courts
