The Art of HAGGLING.... is it dead?

As a friend an fellow ODTer stated:
"The brotherhood of the ODT goes out the window the minute the haggling starts".
My ticking point is the "How much ammo are you going to GIVE me?", or "How many magazines are you going to THROW IN?"
If my ad says pistol and 2 mags, that's what the deal is for. And as a poster above pointed out, it's how you ask.
Try, "Do you have any other magazines (or do you have some ammunition) you can add to the deal?", or: "I could do $X for the package. I could add some $ for more magazines (or ammunition)."
Or just how about asking if the seller has any magazines or ammo they'd like to sell with the deal? Anything other that "Wadda ya gonna GIVE me?"
Haggle away, but don't be offensive.

I've given low offers that have been accepted, and I've accepted low offers. I've also laughed at a whole lot of offers, and probably had someone laugh at my offer a time or two. I'm not here to get something as cheap as possible or make as much money as possible. It is what it is
Worst I've seen around here is when a guy PMed an offer, and the seller replied back publicly, even exposing the identity of the lowballer. That's classless imo. And no, I wasn't the lowballer.
Had the happened once. Sent an "atta boy", msg. "man, I wish I could find one of those for around XXX. "
Response was "I'll take XXX."
And he delivered it to work.
I dont haggle with flippers.
