On Netflix.
Unexpectedly good WW2 flick. True story centered around a 1945 mission to bomb Gestapo headquarters in Copenhagen, as the Brits try to prevent the collapse of the Danish resistance. The movie is less about the actual mission than the ordinary people, particularly families, who would be affected by the mission. There are some very powerful storylines involving the horrors and unfairness of war, faith, family, and redemption. There are several major roles played by kids. Some of the best performances I've seen by young actors in any film genre.
Highly recommend, but be prepared for some hard truths. And...subtitled.
