The future.

If that is the law then YES. You're a fan of the constitution and rule of law I assume?
I'm a fan of the Constitution, but the rule of law is not always Constitutional.

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."

Thomas Jefferson

I'm pretty sure Jefferson made a few laws.

Yes, I heard the Sovereign Citizen movement is gaining steam. You still quote the 2nd amendment though don't you? Which is it - Constitution or no?
Are you trying to say Jefferson's statement is not Constitutional? Far from it. The very purpose of the Second Amendment is so the citizenry can resist a tyrannical government. How do we know it has become tyrannical? When it is making and trying to enforce unconstitutional law.

BTW, a sovereign citizen is basically an anarchist. I very much believe in Constitutional government. So much so that I am accused of being a Statist on a regular basis here.

Sorry, that makes no sense. Try again.
No thanks actually. These types of discourses really don't benefit any of us. In reality, if we met and had a strong drink in a comfortable chair and sat and talked normally to each other, we'd be fast friends in spite of all of this.

Sorry for getting pissy. The reality is that we are all on the same side. We've got different heads on our shoulders but we only want the best for our loved ones and our children, finally ourselves. The current state of intra-national relations is at an all time low. We're pitted against each other and all of the softer sincere feelings and warmth have left our bodies. I honestly believe as men, this is a primal reaction to protect our families and lash out at perceived threats. The problem is in our perception - many of the threats aren't real and are driven by politicians intent on saving a shameful career or corporations intent on hording shameful revenue. I understand if you feel differently about percieved vs true threats, the evidence may actually support you in the recent fury of political actions and otherwise implied threats to life, liberty and our pursuit of happiness.

Regardless, I'm sorry for my keyboard warrior, "anonymity gives me strength" bullchit. I wish you and your family well. Truly.
