Thanks! The neck is like holding a baseball bat and it's heavy as hell, but it will sustain for days.

Yeah I have found this to be true.

I have been through a pile of guitars but now I am down to only 3. An old Takamine acoustic, a Squier Tele, and this Taylor 114E. Great guitar. My Dad bought this for me as a Christmas present after my ex-gf broke my Gibson L-130 acoustic over my bedpost. I played that guitar all over the SE for over 10 years. She went to jail for it, and was forced to pay restitution. Serves her right the stupid...I also play mandolin.

my picking days are long gone. still have a couple of my beater road guitars. they'll belong to my girls. beat up ol black takamine i've made a lot of money with. and a primer gray tele i had preston higgins build. he used to be the guitar man for merle haggard years ago.

I know Preston Higgins. He is a bad ass.
