There may have already been a post like this at some point but I couldnt find it and my needs are probably different to some degree. I have been contemplating my CC's lack of concealment because of its size. Its a Glock 30 and because of its girth its just not a good CC unless im wearing a coat which I cant very well do in the summer and not look suspicious. I frequently carry my wifes SW 38 spec around the house because its small and light and will fit in my shorts pocket. With Hollow points in it can do some damage, however what if theres multiple criminals in a break in. And although ideal, I cant leave my Remi HD~1100 sitting around cause I have kids. So Im looking into getting a thinner more concealable cc for home, commute and work. I'm wanting to stay in the 9mm-45 caliber too for ease of ammo obtainability. I think we all forsee a time when O'Dummy or one of his predecessors will make ammo illegal because I seriously doubt they will never pass a bill to take our guns and its easier. So, a semi auto with a slimmer profile in 9mm-45, I considered a 1911, but has an awfully long grip and not wanting to drop the cheddar required for a 1911. I like the short length of the Glocks grips, but thats because if the side by side stacking of ammo I know. I looked at the SR9's but again the grip is so long conceling it isnt going to be easy. Suggestions? Oh and trying to keep my budget under $500 here. I know im probably looking for a leprechaun riding a unicorn, but any and all suggestions are appreciated brothers! You can also post what you cc you have with want and pics.
