Just flipped on the 2007 remake of Stephen Kings "The Mist". I can't believe how many instantly recognizable people are in it.

I agree, although it was based on a short story. Interesting premise but it's hard to stretch a movie out from such little material... I think that is evident in this flick. It is cool all the people in it...

I didn't remember how it ended..until I watched it. I guess I either never saw the end or am seriously senile. What a vicious joke of an ending. Usually King stories have some kind of ending but not like this. And for this it was a waste of talent IMO.

The ending wasn't by King in this remake. I thought the vicious joke ending was a nice change of pace. Things don't always end happily in real life.

this is one of VERY few movie endings that are permanently engrained in my mind.
