The mountains are gone. Smoked out

Pretty sure its mainly the hot, summer haze with temps in the 90's.

Many summer days on Lake Lanier I can't even see the range to the north due to the haze.
No, this is smoke. I'm in Ellijay and can't see the mountains 5 miles away. I've lived in GA since 1972 and I've never seen it look like this.

This is from the Lowes parking lot in Ellijay looking north. There should be a mountain range there. Thanks Canada.

Look, I apologize but really it ain't my fault. All my friends and family know that smoke always blows in my direction --absolutely, predictably.

Canada has the fire that makes the smoke.

I live in Georgia, which is to the south -southeast of the source of the fire.

Therefore, the winds across the continent of North America will be heading south southeast to bring the smoke to my face!

( although it may take a couple of minutes for the smoke to adjust to my new position when I move. But it will always change direction to go to me.)
