Got turned on to ODT by Inkdaddy who's an awesome guy and I'm grateful to know him. Then made my first deal with Jay. Another awesome dude. Since then I have met some cool folks, had the pleasure of hosting a meet and greet, made some cool trades, laughed my ass off, ranted, pissed and moaned and learned some cool stuff. Normally not one to open up, but feel somewhat comfortable here. Kinda, therapeutic. Never been part of a forum before. Not even sure any others exist. Thanks for putting this together OS.

Plenty of good people who have good guns and gear.
I said it in another thread, but I had 3 people exchange lengthy PMs with me regarding survival skills, get home bags, and so on. These guys took a lot of time to help me out, and I really appreciated it.

Met some cool folks and have made even better friends after joining ODT. Sold a bunch of stuff and bought a bunch of stuff.

Great place for like-minded (and not so like-minded) folks to gather and share ideas.

Would have never met the friends I made recently w/o the ODT. We have our moments but for the most part it's a pretty cool thing.

My thanks to you, Space Pope, for giving me a place to spend countless hours with friends. My son found this site before I did and once he introduced me to the addiction here, I began to worry that he would ever graduate with all the great "distractions" here. He finished college and almost magically, I could afford to swing a deal every once in a while. Picked up some beauties and still have a couple of unicorns to find...It's the people that keep me coming back. I generally ignore the troublesome ones and enjoy the others. You done good, OS!

Plumminfool turned me on to this site, and I must say that my wife is pissed that he did. I waste a lot of time lookin' at/for stuff, spend her money, and anxiously await new postings from ShinobiOfLegends, Flydawg72, and Whiteywgun and Tony2x also. I haven't met these guys yet, but they are my brothers. Our brothers. There are many that I haven't named and they are my brothers also. I hope to meet many more, maybe at M & G's or Nonlib's place. ODT is a great thing. Met many a real life friend here and it changed my life. Nobody here knows exactly where I've been but everybody sees where I'm going now. That wouldn't be possible without ODT. Has honest to God been a major influence in my life and is still a major working component in my life. I don't need any 22 ammo (yet) but I still wanted to post and show my support and appreciation to ODT. I'm working on a giveaway myself to show it and it is going to be legendary.

When I joined the ODT I didn't own a single firearm or know very much about them. I now own several, but not enough! I've made some nice trades, met some nice people, and enjoyed the site. I've read tons of threads and learned a lot from the site/members.

In all fairness I have met a lot of good people who share the same interest, and that's hard to come by these days. So thank all of you for making this site what it is.
