How much does it cost?

I've only had the small batch, it was $60 and damn tasty. Good smoky flavor

I'm in. I'd like to help work with a small group on here to figure out a way for us to eventually pool our money and buy a private barrel for ODT members only. Private barrels run $10-$15K and produce 250-270 bottles. We'd also have to partner with a sympathetic liquor store, which already has all licensing in place. I used to know two store owners who both sold their stores so at the moment I don't know anyone.

Ok folks, I’m beginning to look into barrel options for a group buy.

Anyone seriously interested please PM me and GAK9 on a group message.

A couple of things:

• this will take a few months, it ain’t happening tomorrow.
• The average barrel costs I see are $5k - $9k, before tax (11%).
• We probably need 25-30 people purchasing multiple bottles to make this work. I’m not doing this for 180 different people getting 1 each.

I’ll find out what options are available and report back.
