The Ultra Presidios are 440 stainless, too. Alot of bang for the buck!

Yeah it's very easy to sharpen. It doesn't hold an edge like my 154 cm knives do, but it's pretty solid nonetheless.

Got it for $73 at Cutlery Shoppe using their discount code and free shipping.

- Last but not least, Mel Pardue hand grind #1. This was his submittal to Benchmade to replace the Emerson CQC when he left the stable. It was not picked up, but I found this at the Blade show years ago and bought it. I met Mr. Pardue and have an email from him in which he comments on this knife.

55Highlander,
There are ALOT of nice pieces in your pic. But, that Dozier is NICE! A Mel Pardue(my favorite Benchmade collaborator) to answer the CQC7, that is interesting! I had a 975S for a long time. I carried a 720SBT for ALOT longer, though. The 720 series is the reason I love Axis Locks to this day. Maybe an Axis Lock on a CQC7? Ground on both sides? That would approach perfection, IMO. Nice Blades all around!
