this one is fresh on my mind. I always say "please" and "thank you". it shouldn't be weird, but today it is. even at the McDonald's drive through, I thank them. they don't have to be there and they are doing something for me, even if I am paying them to do it.

this is one my mind because tonight I bar tended at a party for some very wealthy people. the wealthier the people, the less often they were polite. I'd never say, "I need _____." It's always, "Could I get a _____, please."

In short, it is weird to be polite now.

I always imagine I live a whole different life (different job or part of world) when I go to bed and I am waiting for sleep. (way better dreams)

i always have to carry everything in a certain pocket. and if its not there... it drives me nuts. same with my belt. i have to have it or i go crazy.

I'm the same way. Every time I get into a car, or do something where I have to go from standing to sitting and vice versa, I always have to pat myself down to make sure everything that's supposed to be in my pockets is still there...
I learned to do that after I accidentally scooped up my truck keys with a front end loader and sent them off with a load of scrap iron... that wasn't a fun day at work.

Not me but the wife....anytime she gets something at the store,she will reach back and get the 3rd or 4th one back....she dosnt want the one others may have picked up and put back...cracks me up

I squeeze bread like an accordian, just a bit to be sure the bag is air tight, before I buy it. I "thump" melons with my thumb and listen to the resonance to determine ripeness.

Here's one I bet nobody else does though. If I go to Wal-Mart (or any store really) and I walk around for long I end up talking myself OUT of half the things I've picked up. Then I RE-shop the store putting things BACK where I got them.
