thinking about a suunto core or a casio mudman?

Also, you can make the screen tactical AF!

I own a Suunto Core. So far, the band broke, lots of anodizing wear, the computer fried after the first battery change so I am stuck at 23000 feet in altitude, 205 degrees, and the list goes on. It looks great out of the box, but goes downhill right after the first day.
I am more of a Casio guy, but don't own any. I am mostly a cheap watch kind of guy. If it breaks, I get something else until it breaks. I have not found a quality watch I can abuse without it crapping out on me.

I have a Core with negative display. Only gripe is you can't read it without the backlight is in anything but bright light. Battery life is about a year, but it has many runtions, so it is a trade off.

Have been wearing a Garmin Pathfinder with negative display for the last three years. Solar power, atomic timekeeping, temp, ABC, waterproof. Couldn't be happier.
