I switched to the Schick Hydra5. They are much cheaper than Gillette and just as good if not better because they last longer.

HA! I spotted those today at Kroger. Don't think I'd shave with them, they remind me too much of the chrome grill on a '67 Impala SS...only the Hydra5 has MORE fins. Sheesh!

Found 4 more of the Van Der Hagen soaps at Kroger but Publix had nothing. The ones at Kroger were "Close out" at $1.09. Looks like shaving soap is getting harder to find locally, which kinda sucks since it's cheapest in town.

One puck usually lasts me about a year, those things go a long ways. I have had the same two pucks in a mug for two years.....use Taylor of Bond when I am seeing the girlfriend and Williams day to day.

lol I started with a old VC4 Valet autostrop but blades for that are a P.I.T.A. to find and about $1.18/blade where you can. So now I'm using a '46-'47 no notch Gillette Aristocrat that I got off of fleabay for $35 it's not in collectors shape but it's a damn good shaver.

How do you like the CO Bigelow cream? I was using their after shave for a while but it became nearly impossible to find.
