This Atlanta Winter got the Best of me!!!!

Spent more than half my life in New Hampshire. Friday I sanded my front walkway which is all heavily shaded. Coming up the walkway, I must have missed the ice on the outer edge. Slipped, fell over, then fell over an embankment. Spent all night in the ER. Wrist broken in 3 or 4 places. I now need surgery and some appliance to hold it together. HAPPY 2018 to me!!

Oh man sorry to hear that! I hope you heal up quickly. P.S if they will let you be away for the surgery do it! I broke my ankle last January and since I was 5 months pregnant chose to have a spinal and not be put to sleep. It was way better then waking up in that nasty fog.

for those that remember....I just returned to my part time job this past August from a devastating fall that broke my left wrist in several locations, dislocated the wrist, crushed the median nerve, etc. etc. etc. now im doing it again.. just not as severe, and its my right hand this time, it was my left last time.
