When I was in high school I saw a Sasquatch sized man scream at a 2 years old girl " shut the f up before I beat the sh*t out of you in front of god and everyone" with a very threatening seriously upset tone. I will never forget that. I still wonder to this day if that girl is still alive. I think you did the right thing, made the dude realize that he can't do that without people noticing

You did the right thing. I called the law the other day driving downtown thru Atlanta. A car passed me and in the passenger seat there was an older lady holding a baby in her lap. So I got behind them and called the state patrol and gave them the license plate number and told them what direction they were headed. Hope fully they caught up with them. I know its not the same situation as yours but just thought I would share.

Similar happened in Conyers Publix park lot. Man had kid between his legs beating him bad with belt. I pulled over and another female came over also. Got tag # and we both waited for police to come. Officer assured us he would make report and send to DEFACS. Week later I go to Dfcs to follow up. They had no report so I went to police station and got report and hand carried back myself. No info so went back and was told they could no locate suspect. I found him with a little "google" help and then was told not enough evidence????????????? 2 eyewitness not enough. Makes me want to get involved nxt time.
