I just read about this in a magazine.......I have blackberry patches and get about 10 to 12 ticks a day on me durin picking season....makes me afraid now cause I pull them off by the dozens... Not only this but Rocky Mountain spotted fever, lime disease.

There is a crazy ass I work with that has this same issue.I just knew he was b.s.'n me til I read this.I got 300+ seed tick bites last July and am still healing today. Ticks are Satan's spawn.

I had a similar experience at the Disney Animal Kingdom Hotel. I was on the balcony at about 10:00pm watching a giraffe about 25' away. I had my hand on the railing and it started itching like I had been running a jackhammer all day.

As far as researchers know, this allergy is ONLY caused by the LONE STAR TICK

Agree, I stil have one in a peculiar place that is a knot and itches from time to time.
