As far as researchers know, this allergy is ONLY caused by the LONE STAR TICK

Thanks for sharing your story. This is the real deal, one of my best friends was diagnosed with alphagal in 2007, one of the first in the state of GA. From what I have read Brenada Valentine (Bass Pro prostaff) and John Sanford also have this disease. First discovered in Australia. UGA has published several white papers on this disease, but it impacts such a small percentage of the population that pharmaceutical companies are not investing in a cure yet.

Please carry and epi-pen and benedryll everywhere you go. It is easy to accidentally ingest mammal meat.

My son got stung by a three yellow jackets and swelled up Had to run him to the ER

He's been stung before with no issues

Trust me, an Epipen and a bottle of liquid Benadryl go with me everywhere.

I found out that they fit perfectly in an AR15 mag pouch that I mounted to the small EDC bag that I carry.

I'll get some pics of my EDC set-up in the next few days and post them in a new thread for everybody to check out.

Also, thanks for the info in your post. The more info we get out there, and the more people that see it, the better.
