I shoot 147gr 90% of the time . When I really want to go quiet I shoot 158gr. Never had any issues out of quality 147 and 158gr

What pistol? I know there are certain pistols that advise against lighter grain rounds.

I have been pleased with American eagle 147. Surprisingly it runs 100% in everything . Including my sten which is iffy to start with.
