i had a mossberg flex 308. it was nice, but it would shoot 2" groups at 100 yds.
i swapped it, and picked up a remmy 700 off the odt for 385 (i think). i added a hogue stock 35 bucks (off the odt) magpul hunter bottom metal (gander mountain) 70 bucks. i have shot a s hook from a bungee cord at 100 yds.. my advice, savage makes a great rifle, mossberg a great shotgun. but givin a choice, go with the one everyone wants to be...
i had to grind out the bottom of the stock to fit in the magpul bottom metal. works great...

I had a mossberg MVP in 5.56. Loved it. Used it as a back up rifle on a prairie dog hunting trip to Wyoming. Easily shot under 1" groups at 100 yards. Being able to use PMAGS is a huge plus

I have my Mossberg MVP Predator in 5.56 and it shoots great. The bolt action is a little on the loose side but I can live with it.

This is at 100yds.
