Threaded .17hmr questions

finally decided to have a .17hmr threaded.

Questions are:
1)what length barrel is everyone using?
2) who threaded it for you? Preferably around Roswell/Alpharetta area.

The barrel will be a cz455 varmint barrel that is currently 20.5”

This rifle comes standard with threaded barrel. I don't shoot quiet but this thing is sick accurate as is the 22 magnum and 22 long rifle version of the same gun. .87 bull barrel. Not sure of the length of barrel.

With the velocity of a 17 HMR I wonder how quiet it will actually be? Maybe the sound of a 22 long rifle unsuppressed??

Suppressed my 17 HMR sounded exactly the same as my 5.56 and 308 suppressed. You are only hearing the sonic crack. So yeah, about like a 22.

What length barrel do you have? I may just go to 16.5”. Seems like velocity would take a ~150fps hit but not sure if that will matter.
