Tiger Woods arrested for DUI in Florida

From an article I read earlier "It is unclear if he was tested for drugs or alcohol". He will get out of this and go back to making millions doing nothing and banging porn stars. He was fun to watch on the course when he was dominating, but he is one ****ed up idividual.

I assume Palm Beach Co gives a ****. They're break it off in him for all they can get. Before it's over I bet his DUI fines and fees will be worth 3 or 4 times a regular DUi.

And it would still be a drop in the bucket to him and he won't have anything on his record. He doesn't give a ****...

All that is certainly true and I agree with you. It reinforces my point that DUI laws are WAY more about city/county revenue than public safety. If they took the fines out of it and enhanced the punishment then I would believe them. For example what if they told Tiger that there would be no fine but he would sit in the Palm Beach Co jailed for 7 full days. Let's say 7 days for a first DUI ( of course without any wrecks or injuries involved) and 14 days for the second one. Let's say 90 days for the third. There would be very few second offenses. But then that wouldn't make any money for the arresting agencies and DUI attorneys. That's why it will never work.
