Time for new tires, help needed.

I had pretty much the same issue. the 37-14.50 mud grapplers hit on full turn. I have 20 inch wheels so my choices were somewhat limted. BFG makes a 37-12.50-20 but the price is out of sight. I ended up with 35 - 12.50 Firestones and although I don't think it looks as good, it steers much better and that god awful noise the Mud grapplers were making is finally gone

I'm running AT's now too.... I definitely don't miss that MT's wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa, wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa, wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa, wa,waa,wa,waa,wa,waa!

Last time I bought tires, I checked everyone locally and was able to order them online much cheaper. I may still go by and see them though.
I live in Newnan as well, I tried to do the online thing and Terry at Westside Tire beat the online price by about $200 on he Nitto Terra Grappler. He beats the online price on most and there is a reason GSP has their vehicles maintained with Terry.......Just saying. As far as tire size needed, Terry is the most knowledgable I know.

I work at a dealer and we have a tire center. There are two possible solutions that I see.
1) Get different wheels with a bigger offset- deeper center and more wheel lip. This will push your tires out farther from the center line of the hub, the same thing spacers do but without the weak link which is the wheel spacer. This will allow you to use a wider variety of tall and wide tires, making your size choice less limited.
2) find a tire that will work on your current wheels that you like the tread design of. This can be done by using the tire manufacturer's web sites for sizing, and converting metric to inches by using the calculator on www.crawlpedia.com. You can plug in a size like 295/55/20 and it will convert it to 32x10.45x20.

This is how I determine what will fit for friends of mine with lifted trucks. You really just need the wheel size and max width without scrubbing, and it's easy peasy from there. Hope this helps an ODT brother.

You are correct, they know their stuff, however, I had a falling out w/ them years ago and won't use them.
