I'm AR boi and wont have that AK trash in my house. But I agree with his take on self defense.
I used to hate AKs and I got two now. They grow on you. I love them now. They have a certain sexiness to them.
Why not have both, that’s what I did so I can collect loot drop ammo after the commies parachute in.

That rings especially clear where I live. It's a good twenty minutes to the nearest police station and I rarely see a State Trooper in the area. So if someone hits the house they have a good 20 minutes to do what they want. It's one of the reasons why I installed barricades on both entry points. It's all on me. God forbid I ever have to do the unthinkable but at least I will have enough time to ward off any riff raff before they get in. I highly doubt anything will ever happen. People still leave their doors unlocked around these parts because neighbors are just as protective as the police are here as well. If anything looks out of place they are watching you can believe that.
