My dad had an International Travelall then, which looked similar to this:
my grandparents had a 71 and a 74 4door pick up version of this. Grandfather built piggy back campers for both. One of them made almost all states in the union. Lots of memories in that truck.

‘79 was a good year…
Still 3 years away from my second divorce, had 3 ‘Vettes.
A ´59, ‘64 coupe, and a ´79. 2 motorcycles, a ‘73 Kaw 900 and a ‘72 Yamaha R5.

And the fastest car back then in the 1/4 mile was a 79 304 C.I. AMC Pacer. Believe it or not. I think it was 79. It might have been the year earlier but it was still pathetic for the American sports car market. If you include the Little Red Express Dodge truck it was the fastest. However, that is a truck..
